WHAT WE DO
PTSD/PTSS is directly connected to the mind and body affecting mental and physical health even in veterans who are high-functioning individuals. These and related symptoms overall impact an individual's wellbeing, not to mention their personal and professional relationships, and may be invisible to the rest of the world.
Warrior Path Home provides a different approach of healing for veterans with PTSD or PTSS through mind-body coaching. As a direct result of our programs, veterans find the courage to come all the way home, by not only helping them heal past trauma, pain and struggle, but also empowering them to lead healthy, solid lives.
Through unique programs and approaches, clients participate in either private coaching or group coaching sessions, virtually and/or in-person and work towards their own client-centered goals. Sessions may also be in combination with Equine Guided Learning, using horses as learning partners.
Veterans learn how to make fulfilling decisions, regain emotional-control, and repair relationships with themselves and others. The methods are fun and engaging for individuals seeking to improve themselves, personally and professionally.

HISTORY
Acknowledging the staggering number of veteran suicides each year, Veterans are often silently struggling with PTSD, depression, anxiety and other emotional or health related issues. They often seek treatment through Veterans Affairs to to resolve their unique challenges. They may be high-functioning, able to go through life, getting things done and making it appear all is well. However, for some, behind the façade is internalized suffering, that even close family members and friends aren't aware of, causing stress and strain on relationships, jobs and more.
Recognizing the need for an accessible program to empower veterans and help them overcome these unique challenges, Warrior Path Home was created. When people reach out for help, that is the time they will benefit the most. The founder aims to assist veterans who are willing and ready to take action sooner rather than later. We at Warrior Path Home intend to help Veterans outside of traditional methods that do not involve therapy, require long-term program commitments or have an extensive wait list.
Warrior Path Home is an ever-evolving program based on the experiences and feedback of the participants, its board members, the facilitators and coaches, and other supportive professionals in the community.
